Who we are
Commercial EPC Upgrades is a trading name of HDCH Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 16237398. We are the data controller for the information you submit through this site. You can reach us at enquiries@commercialepcupgrades.co.uk or on 07367 293494.
Our ICO registration number is TO BE CONFIRMED BY SOLICITOR.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry we collect:
- Your name, your role and the company or property name.
- Your email address and phone number.
- The building postcode, building type, approximate floor area and current EPC rating.
- Anything you choose to write in the message box.
- Technical information captured automatically with the submission: the date and time, your IP address, the page you submitted from and your browser user agent.
We do not ask for and do not want special category data, and you should not include any in the message box.
What we do with it
We pass your enquiry to one commercial energy efficiency contractor so that they can contact you and quote for the work. That is the purpose you gave it to us for.
The lawful basis we rely on for that is TO BE CONFIRMED BY SOLICITOR. We also keep a record of the enquiry and of the wording you were shown when you submitted it, so that we can evidence what was agreed.
If you ticked the optional marketing box we will also send you occasional guidance by email. That is separate, it is optional, and you can withdraw it at any time without affecting your enquiry.
Who we share it with
One commercial energy efficiency contractor, selected by the postcode of your building. We do not sell your enquiry to a panel of suppliers and we do not resell it afterwards.
We also use service providers who process data on our behalf in order to run the site and send email. These are:
- Cloudflare, which hosts this site and provides the security check on the form.
- Supabase, where the enquiry record is stored.
- Airtable, where we keep our own operational record of enquiries.
- Brevo, which sends the confirmation and notification emails.
Details of where these providers store data and any transfers outside the UK are TO BE CONFIRMED BY SOLICITOR.
How long we keep it
Our retention periods are TO BE CONFIRMED BY SOLICITOR.
Your rights
You have the right to ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to ask us to transfer it. Where we rely on consent you can withdraw it at any time.
To exercise any of these, email enquiries@commercialepcupgrades.co.uk. If you are not satisfied with how we respond, you can complain to the Information Commissioner at ico.org.uk.
Changes
This notice is version v1-draft-2026-10-07. If we change it we will change the version here, and we keep the version that applied to each enquiry alongside the enquiry record.
